Patient health records are maintained electronically and in manual form, compliant with Dental Council of India and Karnataka State Dental Council regulations. Electronic records are stored on secure systems with access restricted to authorised clinic staff.
Website data (form submissions) is transmitted over HTTPS (SSL encryption). We implement reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information.
Despite our best efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Medical waste is disposed of per Pollution Control Board standards.

7. Patient Health Data
Patient health data — including clinical records, X-rays, treatment history, and medical history — is classified as sensitive personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).
- We collect and process health data solely for the purpose of providing dental treatment and maintaining clinical records.
- Health data is accessible only to the treating dentists — Dr. Sumukh M and Dr. Anvitha — and authorised clinic staff.
- We retain patient health records for a minimum period as required by Dental Council of India regulations.
- Patient health data is never shared with third parties for marketing or any non-medical purpose.
- Health data may be shared with referring doctors, specialists, or insurance companies only with the patient’s explicit consent.
8. Your Rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request information about what personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements (clinical records may need to be retained per DCI regulations).
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent for data processing at any time. Please note that this may affect our ability to provide certain services.
- Grievance Redressal: Contact us using the details in the Contact section below, or file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Data Retention
- Website analytics data: Retained as per Google Analytics 4 default settings (14 months).
- Form submissions (booking and contact): Retained for 2 years or as long as needed to serve the patient.
- Patient clinical records: Retained for a minimum of 3 years after the last consultation, or longer as required by applicable regulations.
You may request deletion of your data by contacting us, subject to legal retention requirements.
10. Children’s Privacy
We provide pediatric dental services for children. For patients under 18 years of age, parental or guardian consent is required for data collection and treatment. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent through our website forms.
